Fair and Lawful International Mobility

BridgeTalent Globus respects German and international rules on the ethical recruitment of skilled workers. This page explains what that means in practice, in particular for health and care professions.

Our commitment

International mobility only works when it is fair to the candidate, to the employer and to the country of origin. We follow the German legal framework and the principles of the WHO Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel. We are transparent about what we do, and just as transparent about what we do not do.

What Section 38 BeschV means

Under Section 38 of the German Employment Ordinance (Beschäftigungsverordnung, BeschV), recruitment and placement into health and care professions from countries listed in its annex is reserved exclusively to the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit). The annex lists countries whose own health systems are under particular strain. This rule applies to employment and to vocational training (Ausbildung) in care professions alike.

What this means at BridgeTalent Globus

For candidates from the countries covered by Section 38 BeschV, BridgeTalent Globus does not carry out private recruitment or placement into health and care professions. Where legally permitted, we support these candidates with information about lawful pathways, language preparation, certified document translation, orientation and integration. For all other sectors, such as technology, skilled trades, logistics or hospitality, and for university pathways, our full support applies.

For employers and institutions

Clinics and care providers who want to hire internationally from countries covered by Section 38 BeschV can do so through the Bundesagentur für Arbeit and government-level programmes. BridgeTalent Globus can complement these lawful routes with language preparation, document management, arrival support and integration services.
